OK, first of all...he is drop dead gorgeous. Maybe you don't remember him...he is one of those actors who rarely shows up on the tabloids unless he has a mega hit, like, I don't know...The Passion of the Christ. Yes, I loved him before he portrayed our savior in such a humble way. He was daring and a bit roguish in The Count of Monte Cristo...my favorite scene was when he entered the fete he was throwing from a hot air balloon. Huba-huba.
But here is why I really admire and respect him, good looks and acting skills aside. He is a man of faith. He is a man of principle. He means what he says and says what he means. He is a man's man in world full metrosexuals who try to hone in on my products, salon appointments, and the mirror. (Thankfully, I married to a man's man who has no idea what I am complaining about.)
Here are some links that hint at the incredible man who defies the Hollywood standard of self-absorbed no-nothings.
Oh, and if you have not seen much of his work, go watch some of it. He was also excellent in Frequency with Dennis Quaid.
