I am so happy for my friend and extended sister-in-law, Jen. She and her husband are opening a great little cheese shop in Pueblo...

Why hellocatrine?

I love Hello Kitty. Anyone who knows me knows I love the cute little anime. In fact, I love just about everything Sanrio.

I am not sure if it is because I spent time in Japan...I think it may have reinforced it. But I was never open about my obsession with a cartoon cat.

In fact, I do not like cats. Yet, in World of Warcraft, my main toon's name is Catrine. Everyone I play with, even my husband now, calls me Cat. I hate cats.

But I love Hello Kitty. I love pink. So, I created toons based off of Hello Kitty...and decided to embrace my virtual self, "Cat", and chose this as my blogger handle.

That and my real call sign can stir up trouble.
